Shen Zhang
L.Ac. Zhang graduated from Gansu College of Traditional Chinese Medicine
with O.M.D. in 1984. She earned her M.S. degree from Shanxi College of
Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1989. She became an assistant professor
in Traditional Chinese Medicine afterwards. She authored several textbooks
and published over 30 papers on medical journals. Based on her practice
as a physician in Chinese medicine, she developed several formulas. She
won her Ph.D. degree from Kyoto University in Japan in 2001. Altogether,
she has over 20 years of experience in traditional Chinese medicine practice

L.Ac. Zhang is currently in private practice in San Diego, California.
Her practice of traditional Chinese medicine includes acupuncture and
Chinese herbs to treat physical and emotional conditions, including all
types of pain, sports injuries, allergy, eye problems, stroke rehabilitation,
stress relief, relaxing and enhance body energy. Using disposable needles
and natural medicine, she is a certified practitioner (California Acupuncture
Board for the Certification of Acupuncturists) who sees acupuncture as
